Anyway, this is a request from pikipikipki321. King Kaliente first shows up in the Good Egg Galaxy--the first galaxy Mario finds himself in--and returns as the second-to-last boss. The basic strategy is the same--only difference is that Mario now stands on sinking platforms, and a meteor storm has come his way! I was surprised I pulled this off on my first try without ever taking damage. Enjoy. Good Egg Galaxy - Mission 3 King Kaliente's Battle Fleet Wow, I actually had a hard time going through this mission without taking damage. It's pretty hard to not die, but man, they throw enemies at you everywhere, and I had to try several times before I managed to get this run. If the Good Egg Galaxy's Comet Star was a Daredevil mission for this stage, it'd be one wicked gauntlet. Even with "Dreadnought's Colossal Cannons," I started up the Wii, took Mario to the very late-game Dreadnought Galaxy, and got him through without a hitch. But this one was way harder to get through without getting hit. If the Chain Chomps and maverick pointy bushes don't get you, the Bullet Bills and the weird blue alien things will. If not King Kaliente himself, who'll summon large numbers of invincible blue flame guys. Also, I wonder if the weird water planets at about 1:44 used to be part of something... Intro made by YouTube member dembonez19. *** Heading back to Good Egg Galaxy, it's time for yet another boss fight. This time, Mario will face off against King Kaliente, a gigantic octopus-like boss. Getting to him, while not difficult, will involve fighting a lot of enemies, many of which are classic Mario enemies, such as Pokey, Chomp, and Bullet Bill. BOSS: King Kaliente The boss fight here takes place around a pool of lava, so don't fall in (like I did)! King Kaliente has a few attacks. He'll spit fireballs in groups of three at Mario; just move out of the way to avoid them. He also can spit out coconuts; these are what you need to use to defeat him. When he spits out a coconut the first time, do a spin on it, and it will launch back at Kaliente. When he does it again, he'll block the first hit, sending it back at Mario. He won't expect a second hit, so spin it back at him to hit him again. After hitting him twice, Kaliente will also summon Lava Bouncers to attack Mario. Just avoid them while waiting for the coconut to appear. He'll block it twice, but again won't expect another spin, so after the third hit, he's down and Mario can collect another Power Star. There are additional Power Stars to obtain in Good Egg Galaxy, but the missions for them aren't available just yet. In the next video, we'll <b>...</b>
